The purpose of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church is to be a community of Christians hearing and responding to God's Word in worship and in service.

St. Andrew's is a member of the ELCA - Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

St. Andrew's is  an energetic and friendly congregation that tries to serve God and serve the local neighborhood as well as the world wide community.

churchOur congregation began in 1950. The first building was completed in that year. In 1996 the congregation of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Los Angeles joined us, and funds from the sale of their property gave us the needed resources to consider a building program. At our 50th anniversary in 2000, we began the planning process for our new building.

For our size, we are more diverse than most churches in our area, and we celebrate that diversity as a sign of God's Kingdom breaking in.

We want to invite and welcome and include everyone who comes to visit or be with us. We are convinced that each one of our members and friends brings us gifts, and is a gift from God to this community. And so we are rich.

Our namesake, Andrew, was the first apostle to follow Jesus Christ, and he was also a convincing missionary who brought others to meet the Lord. Andrew was martyred because he remained faithful to Jesus. He refused to stop telling others about his Faith. God grant us the faith and courage of Andrew today!
